Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our marketing, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Last updated: October 26, 2026

1. Who we are

Ad Spin Media ("Ad Spin Media," "we," "us") is an advertising and marketing company based in New York, NY. This policy covers adspinmedia.com, our forms and downloads, and the marketing we send. Our sister company Ad Spin Tech has its own website and privacy policy.

When we run campaigns for clients, we often handle personal information on their behalf, for example a customer list used for a mailing. In that case the client decides how the information is used and we act as their service provider under contract. Section 7 explains this.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a white paper, ask for an audit, email us or call, we collect what you provide: usually your name, email, company, role, phone number, website and message, plus whether you want our newsletter.

Information collected automatically. Our server records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the referring page, for security and troubleshooting. With your consent, analytics and marketing cookies collect information about how you use the site. See our Cookie Policy.

Information from others. We may receive business contact information from referral partners, event organizers, public sources and professional networks such as LinkedIn.

We don't knowingly collect sensitive personal information, such as health, financial account or government ID data, through this website. Please don't send it to us through our forms.

3. How we use information

  • To deliver what you asked for, such as a white paper download, an audit or a reply.
  • To follow up about our services, as long as you haven't opted out.
  • To send our newsletter if you opted in.
  • To run, secure and improve the website, including preventing spam and fraud.
  • To measure our own advertising, if you've allowed marketing cookies.
  • To meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

If you're in a region that requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on your consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies), steps you asked us to take (downloads, audits), our legitimate interest in running and promoting our business, and legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We share personal information only as described here:

  • Service providers that help us run the business, such as web hosting, email delivery, CRM, analytics and file storage. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners such as Google and Meta, only through cookies or pixels you've allowed.
  • Our affiliated companies, such as Ad Spin Tech, when your request involves their services.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect our rights, users or others.
  • Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with this policy continuing to apply.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some state laws treat allowing advertising cookies as a "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising. You can opt out at any time with the Your privacy choices link in the footer, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out.

5. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas and other states with privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your information.
  • Get a copy in a portable format.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and profiling.
  • Appeal our decision if we deny your request.
  • Not be treated differently for using these rights.

We extend these rights to everyone who asks, wherever they live, as far as we reasonably can.

Email: every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Direct mail: email us to be removed from our own mailing lists. Cookies: use Your privacy choices in the footer.

6. How to make a request

Email privacy@adspinmedia.com with your request. We'll confirm we received it within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, up to another 45 days where the law allows, we'll tell you why.

To protect you, we'll verify your identity, usually by confirming details we already hold. You may use an authorized agent; we'll ask for proof that they're acting for you. To appeal a decision, reply with "Appeal" in the subject line and we'll respond within the time the law requires.

7. Client data we process for others

When clients give us customer or prospect lists, campaign data or website data to run their marketing, we process it only on their instructions and under a written agreement. We don't use client data for our own marketing, and we don't combine it across clients. If you're a client's customer and want to exercise your rights, please contact that business. We'll help them respond.

8. AI tools

We use AI tools to help draft content, analyze campaign performance and spot problems. We use business-grade AI services configured so that your information and our clients' data are not used to train public AI models, and people review what AI produces before it's used. More detail is on our Governance, Risk & Compliance page.

9. How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and lead information for as long as there's an active business relationship or interest, and generally no more than three years after our last contact, unless the law requires longer. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days. Client data is kept and deleted as our client agreements specify.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold, including encryption in transit, access controls and protected storage. Our practices are designed to meet the New York SHIELD Act's reasonable-safeguards requirements. No system is perfectly secure, so if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we'll notify you as the law requires.

11. Children

This website is for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

12. International visitors

We're based in the United States and our service providers store information in the U.S. If you visit from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

13. Changes to this policy

We'll update this policy as our practices or the law change, and revise the date at the top. If we make a significant change, we'll highlight it on this page or notify you directly.
